Health Hawke's Bay - Te Oranga Hawke's
Bay is a charitable company which has
been formed through the amalgamation of the
region's three primary health organisations -
Wairoa, Tu Meke First Choice and Hawke's Bay.
Te Oranga is a dynamic word encom-
passing the concept of great health.
Health Hawke's Bay is 100% owned by Te
Matau a Maui Health Trust and the Trustees
are seeking to appoint a skills based board of
directors who will guide the provision of pri-
mary healthcare across Hawke's Bay. Expres-
sions of interest are now being sought from suit-
ably qualified individuals for Director Positions.
The people we are looking for will need to
demonstrate sound business and financial
acumen, knowledge of and experience in
a health or social care setting, have a track
record of innovation and have the ability to in-
fluence across both a public and private sector
environment. In addition you may bring legal,
accounting or community service skills. It is es-
sential that you have excellent understanding of
the Treaty of Waitangi and its application within
the health environment.
